We ALL can be Leaders!

How does a dream grow to become reality?

It must be cultivated with care and constant attention. It must be showered with hope and belief. It must be fed a continuous diet of purposeful action.

Then, the most important part, as the dream matures and is harvested — you must take what you learned and teach others — so they too can plant their own dreams.

I'm refering to our education opportunity we provide as a community for our youth. Our new Superintendent has some great aspirations. We need to make sure that the parents are as engaged - as encouraged - as the teachers.

I visited Harkness School last night during the Golf Course Terrace Neighborhood meeting hosted by the principle. Even with the economic challenges he conveyed his incredible enthusiasm and engagement! Their students are so fortunate to have that leadership daily.
